The Survival Kit is aimed at elucidating some of the more common problems encountered by incoming students at Jacobs University. We have chosen to focus on more everyday problems and to give you practical tips on how to survive in this new environment. The Survival Kit is three-fold; Academic Survival, Physical Survival and Social Survival. The purpose of this blog is to raise awareness on some of the more commonly encountered problems such as differences in classroom culture and adaptation to the social and physical climate and European health problems, and sometimes just to entertain you. The target viewers of this blog are freshmen students, especially those coming from non-European countries.
